EDF Results 2024: 80% success rate for ERDYN !

The European Commission has announced the results of the 2024 EDF calls for proposals on Thursday, May 2nd.

This year, 7 projects supported by Erdyn have been selected for funding, raising more than 175M€ in EDF grant and bringing together 125 legal entities from all EU Member States and Norway. These projects will benefit from financial support provided by the European Union and in some cases, additional co-funding from Member States.

Reinforcing its position as a major player, Erdyn contributed to 11% of the projects funded by EDF in 2024.

With a success rate of almost 80% in 2024, compared to an average rate of 21% for EDF projects, Erdyn confirms his added value in supporting the preparation and coordination of European defence projects.

EDF 2024: Key figures

Out of the 297 proposals submitted, the European Commission will provide financial support to 62 projects investing close to €1 billion
SMEs continue to play a key role in the success of the EDF 2024. 38% of the selected entities are SMEs with 27% of the total funding.

2025 EDF Calls for Proposals

The 2025 EDF calls for proposals are now available on the Funding & Tenders website with a submission deadline of October 16th.
