Another great day at the Bio Convention!

Wednesday started with a panel featuring both large pharmaceutical companies and small companies sharing their experience about key success factors for international strategic alliances.

Erdyn was present to Pfizer announcement on the Massachusetts Pavilion: Pfizer announced a call for proposals for up to two Golden Tickets a year to qualifying U.S. neurosciences startup companies that gives access to residency at the pharma’s LabCentral space in Cambridge, Mass. Pfizer also announced today that it will invest $600 million in Pfizer Ventures and that 25% will go to early-stage neuroscience companies, with a focus on neuro-degeneration, neuro-inflammation and neuro-metabolic disorders.

Erdyn has also attended the EEN session featuring Elmar NIMMESGERN from the European Commission for a brief overview of the Enterprise Europe Network (EEN), the structure of H2020 and on what the next research and innovation framework program might look like.

After gaining insight about how to collaborate with the NIH yesterday, Erdyn brings back insights about paths to collaboration with the US Department of Defense.

Erdyn was also delighted to meet its partners and clients during this busy week and we hope they all have a very successful convention, as BIO proudly attempted – and set– the GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS title for the Largest Business Partnering Event.

Tomorrow will be the closing day of the BIO Convention event as well as the closing session for the French Startups involved in the Big Booster accelerator. Follow us for this last day of exciting meetings.
